Morning all... or evening, whatever it may be.
New to this forum and thought it only polite to say hello and introduce myself, or us rather.
We are both keen photographers, she the trained and educated one... me the moaner and just press the button type. I am learning though. Having used a standard SLR for many years we both took the leap into the Digital realm about a year ago with a FUJI 2800. For a compact we were both extremely happy with the results... a great camera for it price range and purpose. Now we are taking a leap into the real world of photography with a FUJI S2 Pro. Mainly n the strength of the colour depth and quality of the Fuji technology.
Anyway... our interests in photography are varied... I'm a graduate marine biologist and thus have a natural angle on wildlife photography. She is more of a fine artist and is happy to shoot anything (probably me if I keep up the trigger happy school of photography) including portraits and landscapes.
Anyway enough said for now. Not sure if I can offer much advice in the short term and will probably be looking for it mainly. More than happy to offer wise advice on some aspects of natural history and all things biotic and the the odd bit of web design if anyone needs some basic or advanced advice in that field.
Gotta say I learnt about this forum in another forum. The link was given to me by one of your subscribers I am sure, not knowing his name on here... A big up to him for pointing out such a useful source of information.
Anyway... I digress. Hope to bump into a few of you on here in the not distant future.
