The technically superior Explorer XT is rated at 350watts continuous power, 1200watts peak power and recommended up to 2400ws. It is designed to provide portable power to most flash and power pack units - making it mobile and portable. With the new Explorer XT, it reduces recycling time for flash units over half, providing more power and better performance compared to its previous model.
Equipped with two (2) 12V, 7Ah seal lead acid batteries; the Explorer XT is designed to be a better and more reliable portable battery solution. Compared to the 600 watts peak power and 150 watts continuous power output of the Explorer 1200, the Explorer XT is not just a mere brute force but a total improvement from the former Explorer.
A pioneer in plug and play portable power solutions - the auto volt-charging feature is retained with the Explorer XT, which accepts 100-240V. It also has 12V car battery charging where an internal circuit converts the 12V source to a 24V. It also has an auxiliary battery port, allowing the user to connect another battery in case the stored power is not sufficient for an all-day photo shoot. Battery power level indicators with beeper and charging indicators come in handy to monitor the user’s power consumption and charging status. It has an automatic switch over from the internal battery to an external battery pack for safety and security.
With an optional durable carrying bag made of PVC nylon, Explorer XT gives you the freedom to shoot to different locations anytime, anywhere to safeguard your gear from all elements. This includes a well-padded & insulated interior, thickly padded shoulder pad with adjustable shoulder strap from 80cm to130cm for carrying convenience, flat slide pockets, and an inside pouch on the cover for cables and other photography accessories. This very mobile set-up weighs only 18 lbs.
