We are looking for beta testers interested to try the MAC OS X version of Photomatix, a post-processing software designed to address the problem of blow highlights and loss of contrast in shadows.
Photomatix optimizes the contrast of HDR scenes such as the interior of a house with an outside view. The software works with images of the same scene taken at different exposures, computing the optimal combination in order to produce an image that has details in both highlights & shadows. The resulting image can be displayed on low dynamic range supports such as paper or computer screen, regardless of how high the dynamic range of the original scene was.
The beta release of the MAC OS X version is available for download in the form of an image disk file

The download includes an AppleScript that runs Photomatix in batch mode. Given that this batch functionality does not exist yet in the PC version, we would particularly appreciate your feedback on it.
