The free tools allow users to run Photoshop actions in Elements. The package comes with 32 pre-installed actions and room for users to install about 50 more. The package also comes with free tools, including: Layer masks, Quick Mask, Selective color, Channel Mixer, and an action playback speed control to help you learn from actions.
These tools were developed after the release of the book The Hidden Power of Photoshop Elements 2, which includes many more tools for Elements users that help bring the program up to the level of Photoshop -- for just the cost of the book.
