In September 2008 Canon announced the full-frame EOS 5D Mark II, the successor to the 5D which was introduced in 2005. This new model sports a 21.1-megapixel resolution and even full HD video. To cover just about every lighting condition extended ISO settings range from 50 to 25,600 providing even improved image noise.
