New Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G lens
Nikon announces new 35mm f/1.4 DX lens. This is the new AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G lens from Nikon. The USA price is listed at $199.95.
This DX lens is designed for the crop sensor cameras like the D300, D40 and any FX camera that also has the ability to go into a DX mode of operation.
It is curious that so many Pro's are waiting for some f/1.4 lenses in the 14mm, 28mm, 35mm, and 85mm range that are AFS-G lenses and Nikon releases this lens.
Is there a hidden signal here or will there be more lenses to come soon? Professionals and Pro Level Hobbyists (PLH) have inquiring minds and would like to know!

So the new Canon G11 has been announced and people are looking - including me! But I have been carrying the G10 in my pocket for the past year or so and it has gotten to be a habit to grab my keys, wallet, a quarter (gotta have some cash) and the G10. Without it now I don't feel dressed.
Pictures of your dog or cat if done right inspires exclamations of praise and encouragement's to "enter that picture in a contest"!
Digital photography has taken over as the main photographic method today. Ironically, go back just a few short years and most of us were shooting film, buying film, developing film, and getting prints for all out efforts.
